WHat is it for:

It is a salt-based compound designed to help control oil levels, improve skin congestion, and minimise pore size.

When to use:

AM and/or PM - daily

Active ingredient benefits:

Regulates Sebum Producion

Zinc PCA can help to balance oil levels and, as a result, prevent clogged pores and reduce blemishes.

Moisturising

PCA (Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid) is a Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF) that helps to increase water retention to hydrate the skin.

Anti-ageing

Helps to prevent the breakdown of collagen in the skin.

Ingredient origin:

It is a salt derivative from Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid (PCA).

Works well with:        

Azelaic Acid/ Niacinamide/ Salicylic Acid

Time to see results:

When used as a topical treatment for blemishes, Zinc PCA can get to work straight away to help calm the area. Long-term benefits such as reduced redness and pore minimisation can be seen from 8-10 weeks.

Impact on sun sensitivity:

Zinc PCA has no impact on the skin's sensitivity to the sun. However, it is advised to still apply SPF daily.
